Yesterday...

I forgot to mention the most exciting thing about yesterday's trip. On the way home, as we were going past Pass Mountain, a bobcat ran across the road in front of us. It must have stopped in the bushes just on the other side because as we went by we saw it run off into the desert. That's the first bobcat I've seen since I moved to Arizona almost 6 years ago. Now that I know they are this close to town, I know that they have probably watched me on many of my hikes.

I was reminded about the bobcat today when I saw something else crossing the road. It was moving much more slowly, though. But it's late and I'm tired. I'll have to tell you all about that tomorrow.
